酒店的平面布局以傳統江南水鄉聚落空間為原型，其中傳統村落的公共性空間以及公共與私人空間的組織形式是尤為重要的研究對象。酒店設計師提取了村芯、水口、巷道、水渠等標志性的公共空間元素，并延續了傳統街巷空間的尺度體系。同時，方案也提取了傳統村落多巷道交匯的組團特征，建立起一個風車形網格系統。

The plane layout of the hotel is based on the traditional settlement space of Jiangnan Water Town, in which the public space of traditional villages and the organization form of public and private space are particularly important research objects. The hotel designer has extracted the symbolic public space elements such as village core, water outlet, tunnel and water channel, and has continued the scale system of the traditional street space. At the same time, the scheme also extracts the group characteristics of the intersection of traditional village multi lanes, and establishes a windmill grid system.
